Testimonials
“Having the opportunity to work with Jamie at the Mental Health Center of Denver [WellPower] has been both an exceptional honor and a pleasure. Her unique and inclusive leadership style establishes an environment where everyone feels heard, valued and appreciated. Jamie’s futuristic visioning creates space for innovative and thought-provoking technology; which continues to assist in bridging gaps between community, staff members and the people we serve. In a world dependent on technology; Jamie models a tactical excellence, balancing other’s strengths and talents to produce the best product or content possible. I am always in awe with Jamie’s ability to navigate the stresses and traumas of diversity fatigue that occur in this work, all without minimizing the experience of others. Having Jamie as a support matters; I’m truly thankful I landed on her team and have had the opportunity to witness her quiet, yet electric aura.”

“Jamie is pure positivity!
I had a chance to work with Jamie at my current institution where Jamie advised a student leader board responsible for dispersing hundreds of thousands of dollars to social justice student organizations. No easy task at all for any student, but Jamie helped the students through this process by helping the students learn more about themselves and their role as a leader on campus. Through team-building and retreats, the students became more comfortable with themselves and their identities and this transferred into tremendous success for the board and the organizations they advised.
Beyond this, Jamie is a caring and considerate educator. She is constantly panning the room, gauging interest/enthusiasm, and connects with students both in a small setting and as individuals. Jamie challenges students thoughtfully and supports each student based on where they are at in their own personal growth.
For colleagues, Jamie is nurturing and supportive of balance and life and encouraging of others to engage in a meaningful way with students - even if it's outside one's comfort zone.
While my time working with Jamie was short, she made a tremendous impact with her students and colleagues and role modeled for others the right way to educate students.”
